Tomorrow the leaders of Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland meet to sign a declaration planning the breakup of the United Kingdom. I think that is a mistake. We are one people on these islands, too interwoven for a border not to hurt all of us. Ask a separatist "Am I a foreigner?" and none can say yes. The union is what let us flourish; put the borders back and we compete against our own brothers and sisters.
