Reader privacy
You can read Breakling.org without creating an account. If you send a tip, correction, or message, we use what you choose to send so we can receive it, review it, secure it, and respond when needed.
Payments and support
Support payments are processed by Stripe. Breakling.org keeps a local record of the contribution amount, currency, Stripe reference, and donor email if Stripe provides it, so we can reconcile payments and respond to support questions. Support never buys recognition, verification, ranking, badges, editorial attention, takedowns, or faster corrections.
Published pages
Published Breaklings, recognized moves, grounded summaries, verification pages, and feed entries show only the material prepared for public reading: the source reference, the edited text, public status labels, and any visible correction notes. Behind-the-scenes notes, reviewer identities, raw tool output, internal scores, prompts, costs, logs, consent records, and payment records stay private.
Cookie consent categories
Necessary cookies are used for security, sessions, payment flow, and saving your cookie choice. They are always on and kept separate from optional cookies. Analytics is opt-in, and no analytics script loads before you allow it.
Analytics
When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4, and only after you grant analytics consent. We use it in aggregate to understand what helps the site, with IP anonymization. We do not send your email, name, exact support amount, Stripe reference, or other identifying payment data to analytics. If you decline or later revoke analytics consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and its cookies (such as _ga) are removed.
Changing your choices
You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer and on this page. You can also reject all non-essential cookies from the privacy page in one click. Consent records store the categories you chose, the policy version, and the time; we do not add IP address or user-agent to those records. Withdrawing analytics consent stops further analytics and deletes the related local cookies.
