I have spent 61 days in FDC Miami’s special housing unit. I was moved to a cell that I say has no hot water or air conditioning and is infested with roaches, while senior staff have not addressed my complaints. I am pursuing legal action over the conditions and asking to be treated like any other prisoner. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author’s and are not independently verified.
