I used to call for Trump to resign because I thought he was incompetent and dishonest. Now he is just embarrassing. The longer he stays president, the worse our whole country looks to the rest of the world. Trump promising to hand out $5,000 to every American if the GOP wins the midterms is the most desperate ploy I have seen in American politics. (It is also a solid reason to buy gold and silver, since it suggests he intends to debase the currency further.)
