What a pathetic, cringing performance by Christian Fraser on @BBCWorld actually asking the head of the Nobel Peace Prize committee if it wouldn't be better to give Trump the prize because Trump's threatened to stop thinking about peace - as if Trump's psychosis were its fault

Christian Fraser was far too deferential on BBC World, asking the head of the Nobel Peace Prize committee if it wouldn't be better to give Trump the prize because Trump has threatened to stop thinking about peace, as if the committee were responsible for his reaction. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.
About the claims
Quote-post pilot: prominent author, concrete media target and a newly salient Nobel story. Source is roughly27h old, a freshness exception for standalone quoting rather than reply visibility. Source post verified live, but exact BBC question and Trump threat have not been independently verified. Reported questioning remains an object of the author's criticism; no other speaker's substantive argument is rewritten into his voice.
