I'm tired of watching WNBA players and media benefit from Caitlin Clark's popularity while refusing to credit her for it. They minimize her records, move the goalposts when she breaks them, and act irritated by the attention and fans she brings. But they still want the bigger salaries, charter flights, sold-out arenas, national TV games, endorsements, and ratings that came with that attention. You can't resent the attention she generates while benefiting from it, or dismiss her impact while negotiating for a bigger share of the money her popularity helped create. I'm not saying she built the WNBA by herself. But acting like the league's growth has nothing to do with her is dishonest. Tell me where I'm wrong.
