We have real problems: people can't afford groceries, gas, housing, or healthcare. American troops are in Trump's conflict with Iran. Families are struggling. And Trump is picking a tariff fight with Canada, one of our closest allies. Meanwhile Trump declared Lake Ontario "Lake America," and Google Maps changed it for American users. Canada still sees Lake Ontario, and most of the world sees both names. A political stunt is shaping what Americans see as geography, and Google went along with it. The media covers the stunt as headline news while the actual crises get ignored. Stop treating a renaming stunt like normal politics when we have real problems to deal with.
