The war in Ukraine has never looked winnable to me, and the cost in lives and Western money keeps rising while Ukraine's position worsens. I think reflexively blaming Russia for every incident, Leipzig included, while arming Ukraine to strike deeper into Russia, is escalating toward a wider war.
