This transfer window has been a failure. INEOS spent months briefing that this would be one of Manchester United's biggest summers in a decade. What we got was failed negotiations, poor sales, and the same weaknesses left untouched. Left-back was not even addressed. Ratcliffe hired Berrada and Wilcox from Manchester City, and so far the result is PR instead of ambition and excuses instead of competence. Defending INEOS now is not the same as supporting Manchester United.
