A Hampshire pastor filmed at the Portsmouth protest says "love thy neighbour" means "love thy near dweller", so people from 3,000 miles away do not count. Read Leviticus 19:33-34 and Deuteronomy 10:18-19: the foreigner living among you is exactly the neighbour those commands name. Redefining the word so asylum seekers fall outside it does not interpret the command. It rewrites it. Border control can be argued in good faith. This is not that argument. Tone rewrite only. What is happening to the US is slow and systematic, not random. NATO, public health, Pentagon leadership, DOGE cuts, USAID, ICE, the FBI, national parks, the economy, the Epstein files, private data: each move weakens a part of the state. Taken together, the pattern looks deliberate. So ask whose interests it serves. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

Lasisi's point about hospital beds is real, but the problem is wider than beds. Patients are made to buy cards before anyone sees them, even in emergencies. Drugs are sold overpriced with the packaging removed so nobody can compare. Oxygen is priced out of reach. Doctors push C-sections and refer patients to their own private clinics. Government failure is one half; practice inside the hospitals is the other. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

NHL 27 uses generative AI for commentary, advertised accurate goal horns and songs that are not accurate in the game, still carries glitches from the previous console generation, and locks EASHL attribute points behind battle passes. Video is circulating of Jackie Young apparently reminding a teammate to clap after Caitlin Clark scored. That Mbappe press conference was the most self-centred thing I have heard from a player. He shows no shame. It is all about him and his personal goals. He does not seem to care about the team. He played through a bad injury in the Copa del Rey round of 32 last season just to break Ronaldo's record, then could not stay fit for the rest of the season. Theranos was not only investors losing money. The tests never worked, and patients got wrong results: miscarriages that had not happened, HIV and cancer diagnoses that were false, heart attacks that were missed. Britain is not poor. It has been mismanaged into looking poor. Taxes are heading for historic highs while services and infrastructure rot, and more than 100 billion pounds a year goes on debt interest that builds nothing. An island with energy under the sea, food in the soil and fish in the water has sold, shuttered or regulated its productive base into exhaustion, so water, energy and food are insecure, expensive or both. The first duty of government is to protect the people it represents; instead the political class treats a national emergency as a communications problem. Tone rewrite only. Lee Kuan Yew did not remove corruption from the human heart. He made it rare, dangerous and shameful through a system: he refused gifts himself and held ministers to the same rule, gave the anti-graft bureau power over anyone including ministers, paid officials enough that they did not need bribes, and made the bribe a public stain rather than a clever move. Remove any one piece and it weakens. Singapore stayed clean because the men at the top were willing to punish their own, which is the part most countries refuse.

Portsmouth: 500 blockaded the port, riot police cleared it at 3am

A day after Dover, masked protesters blocked the road from Portsmouth's port after a boat carrying about 140 people was rescued and landed. This time police used riot shields and a dispersal order.

  1. What happened: A dinghy from Normandy got into difficulty in UK waters and was rescued by two RNLI lifeboats and landed at Portsmouth. Around 500 demonstrators, many in black and masks, blocked the road out of Eastney for hours.
  2. Police response: Hampshire Police formed lines with riot shields and issued a Section 14 order at about 3am on Monday, after which the crowd dispersed. A dispersal order runs until Monday evening. No arrest count has been published.
  3. What the argument is about: A government spokesperson condemned intimidating and thuggish behaviour. Supporters say police guarded the boat rather than the coast; critics note the same masked playbook as Dover. Farage attacked the crossing itself.
