The announcement

Nintendo of America's post passed 5 million views. The Zelda showcase runs about 30 minutes, the Switch 2 one about 45 and is billed as focused on games launching this winter.

The wishlists

Prediction threads want Ocarina of Time remake gameplay and a first Zelda movie trailer. Nintendeal's 'most unrealistic expectations' prompt drew 1,400 replies and 220,000 views.

The argument

Stealth40k notes this is the first Direct to drop the original Switch from the marketing, at 115,000 views. Others point out the fine print says winter only, so a 2027 lineup reveal is unlikely. The end-of-an-era framing has not been contested.
