I have loved Warcraft since I was a kid. I'm a Horde fan, orcs for life, and that's where World of Warcraft lost me. The game never respected the Horde as a faction. First came the Undead, whose theme sits outside Thrall's shamanistic Horde. Then TBC added Blood Elves with paladins, and the Horde stopped looking like burly, savage but honorable monsters. Today's BlizzCon was supposed to bring Classic Plus for vanilla fans like me. Instead we got Undead paladins and a new elf who can join either faction. The story has the same problem: Sylvanas went from a side character to the most powerful being in the universe and humiliated Horde legends like Saurfang. Elves are all Warcraft seems to think about, and I'm done. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

This is the strength that 77 million Americans wanted to lead the United States. This is an old man in visible decline who could not stay awake during a ceremony honoring 9/11. This is not strength. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

Parliament defeated the Government on assisted dying today, by 16 votes. I think it is a dangerous idea that could leave the most vulnerable feeling pressured to end their lives, so every vote mattered. Rupert Lowe turned up. Nigel Farage did not. If Reform will not show up to challenge this government on a vote like this, I struggle to see what the party is for. Tone rewrite only. I was an accountant, so watching the $5k dividend debate is painful. We already carry enormous debt. Only about half of us pay income tax, and about half of those pay under $5k, so there is no separate fund that makes this free. There is no free lunch. Now self-described anti-socialists are arguing for redistribution because this time their side is doing it. Meanwhile my quarterly tax checks, each one the size of a year of college or a decent car, get run through bloated bureaucracies before a small slice comes back as a gift. We are told to expect no negative consequences. I doubt it. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

A year on, not a day has passed without Charlie Kirk crossing my mind, usually in the morning and around my kids. Everything I get to do with them was taken from him and from his. The safe move would be to leave politics so it never happens to my family. I will not think that way. Charlie was mocked for years for trying to shift the youth vote, tuned it out, and delivered in 2024. He sat at a folding table in hostile places while the critics stayed home. Fear is the real death sentence for a country. Get off the sidelines and do something. It is fine to be angry. Let it fuel you, not consume you. Tone rewrite only. Angela Rayner told Nick Robinson on the BBC today that dark clothing and a balaclava on the street is shocking, intimidatory behaviour. Where was that outrage for masked phone snatchers and machete gangs, or for far left protesters who cover their faces every weekend? A protester in dark clothing is a national emergency and the rest passes without comment. Two tier politics. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

Hasan Piker said on stream that America deserved 9/11, then called it blowback, then imprecise language, then context. No context makes 3,000 murdered Americans deserved. El-Sayed partied with him in the backyard, so he cannot act shocked when Mike Rogers brings it up. Hasan made it an issue the moment he said it. Tone rewrite only. Every controversial signing shows how some hockey fans work: grab the worst available word and run with it, with zero research of their own. Putting Alex Formenton’s signing in the same breath as what Lindsay Clancy did, or hanging the word rapist on him, is indefensible. As I read it, this was consensual. Fans like that make the game worse. I hope Alex does well here. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author’s and are not independently verified.

A year on, the conservative movement has failed Charlie Kirk. His death didn’t unite the right; it fractured into conspiracy theories, first about foreign governments, then about TPUSA, and finally about his own wife. Erika can’t smile or frown without being called evil, and the friends making money off his name won’t defend her. Tyler Robinson was responsible. You can still have questions, about the Discord chat and his partner, without inventing a hidden hand. If you wanted to destroy this movement, you’d do what Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson did this year. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author’s and are not independently verified.

Bret Baier pressed JD Vance on Trump’s $5,000 promise: $1.3 trillion, the deficit, inflation, and critics calling it vote-buying. Vance called it a dividend from tariff revenue. But tariffs are a tax on consumers, the payout needs Congress, and the DOGE dividend and $2,000 tariff rebate never arrived. If the money exists, why wait until after the midterms? Conditioning it on a Republican win is what makes it a bribe. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author’s and are not independently verified.

Siri is such an embarrassment right now that it makes me want to throw all of my Apple products across the universe. I really hope the new iOS update fixes this. I can’t even get it to read me off a reminders list without totally messing it up multiple times.

Candace Owens’ tearful reveal that she spent the past year writing to Charlie Kirk in a journal reads like acting to me. The entries are about dreams and betrayal, with digs at Ben Shapiro. It looks assembled to pull on her audience’s heartstrings, one more attempt to make everything about her. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author’s and are not independently verified.

Trump took 9/11 reimbursement money for 40 Wall Street after telling a reporter the building wasn’t hit. He then publicly pledged $10,000 to the Twin Towers Fund, and the city comptroller found no record of that donation in the year after the attacks. First in line when the government was writing checks. Nowhere to be found when it was his turn. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author’s and are not independently verified.

It must be the Albo-rhythms! Our weak PM keeps misleading us. It’s the hard right. It’s the algorithms. It’s the last government. Anyone but himself and his failing government. Tick tock, Albo. ⏰

Harry and Meghan are upset at not being publicly acknowledged as members of the Royal family. But our late Queen did acknowledge them, in writing, as much loved members of her family, and it changed nothing: they still accused her family of racism, of ignoring Meghan's pleas for help and of denying Archie a title, and sold those claims to Oprah and Netflix. Demanding respect for a Royal title while showing none to the Queen who gave it is the whole problem. Actions have consequences. Sometimes they take six years. Tone rewrite only. Susan Rice said the quiet part out loud: she is warning big business and big tech that Democrats will not forget who sided with Trump and walked away from DEI. That is a threat, and it should be taken seriously. If Democrats win the midterms, they will use that power. We have until November to keep them out, pass the SAVE Act and make the elections too big to rig. And the evidence we already hold against very guilty people should finally go to a grand jury. They put innocent people away; we have not arrested one of them. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

France is on the verge of tearing up the one in one out migrant deal, and Andy Burnham is left pleading with Macron to save it. The scheme returned four percent of small boat arrivals while Britain took the same number of asylum seekers in exchange. Over 32,000 migrants crossed the Channel under it, and we paid France hundreds of millions to police its own beaches. Now Paris says the policy does not work, and our Prime Minister is begging for a failed deal. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

This is the end of the PlayStation era. The PlayStation post announcing the end of physical discs passed 185 million views, and every video or post on the subject blows up. Nobody can call that a small minority. The GTA VI trailer's 200 million views were not "a few people who care" either. Some will buy a PlayStation no matter what, but they will be the minority. A company is setting itself on fire in front of us. #NoDiscNoBuy Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

I'm watching Trump's convention speech and it is going badly. He looks tired, he is off script, and he is rambling. This is going to backfire on MAGA.

John Fetterman has moved to a position identical to many centrist Democrats on here, but he is an awkward messenger, so they all have to act like he is still a Bernie-style left populist.

You have this wrong. That was me responding to a pro-Israel hardliner on your side who had also told me to leave the US, so I replied in kind. So this one does not hold up. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

Sony rugpulling Kojima is nefarious. What reason could you possibly have for this besides arrogance?

After all the price increases, the end of physical media, and not a single game to look forward to, you still broke a Kojima partnership? What do you have, PlayStation? What do you do? Are you going to greenlight another seven Marvel and God of War games? Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.
