Late stage MAGA is so disgusting and unrecognizable to me, and I find this shocking as one who attended more Trump rallies than I can count. A woman with a “Release The Epstein Files” shirt stands at a Trump rally shouting at Trump to release the Epstein files and gets physically…

I've attended many Trump rallies, and I no longer recognize the movement I supported. A woman demanding the Epstein files was attacked and removed while Trump mocked her and those who attacked her stayed. MAGA once called for transparency and defended women; now loyalty to Trump appears to excuse mistreating them. A movement that humiliates women and turns against people calling for accountability is betraying the Christian values so many of its supporters profess. Tone rewrite only. I think Warren's Trumpflation tracker gives a misleading picture of the economy. It overlooks Biden-era price rises and real wage gains since Trump took office, while using insurance-premium projections instead of medical-care CPI. A fair comparison should use consistent measures to assess Trump's record against the failed Biden policies Warren supported. Tone rewrite only. Nidal Hasan deserves punishment for murdering thirteen people. Livestreaming his execution turns justice into a spectacle that centers the killer instead of honoring his victims. I fear those images will hand extremists a martyr and years of propaganda, putting families and troops at risk. Hegseth cannot reconcile his public Christianity with turning a killing into entertainment. We spent years condemning the Taliban and Iran for public executions. Now our own government wants a global audience. With families struggling to afford essentials, I want leaders focused on making us safer, not broadcasting retribution. This is cruelty packaged as justice. Tone rewrite only. Claims remain the author's and are not independently verified.

I think the change in how progressives treat Musk is political. They celebrated Tesla and SpaceX when his work served their priorities, then turned against him after he bought Twitter and challenged its management and moderation. Twitter survived a drastic reduction in staff. To me, that undermines claims that its old bureaucracy was indispensable. Musk's companies still make products many critics use, while other billionaires retain progressive support. My objection is the double standard: wealth is welcomed when it supports progressive power and condemned when it challenges it. Tone rewrite only. I do not believe Burnham has a democratic mandate: he did not lead Labour into a general election, and members had no leadership ballot. Starmer at least faced voters as party leader. Houthis now hold Yemen's whole Red Sea coast up to the Bab el-Mandeb

A 36-hour push took Mocha, Dhubab and Perim Island. Iran's allies now sit on both oil choke points around Arabia.

  1. What fell: Mocha fell on Thursday, September 10; Dhubab and Perim Island in the strait followed on Friday. About 12% of global trade passes the Bab el-Mandeb each day.
  2. Why Saudi Arabia is exposed: With Hormuz disrupted since February, Riyadh pushed its East-West pipeline to seven million barrels a day and sent 21% more oil out through the Red Sea. Attacks forced a pipeline shutdown, and the crown prince pressed Trump twice in a day for strikes; Trump offered targeting help instead.
  3. Can they close the strait: Analysts split: some see a more capable force with better Iranian weapons, others say the Houthis cannot sustain a blockade and that a hint of danger already reroutes ships.

Listening to civil servants in Parliament, what strikes me is the disconnect from the private sector that funds them. Out there, nobody has a guaranteed pay rise, a comfortable pension or a job that survives the company running out of money; every month the wages, rent and tax must be found. Inside the state it is four day weeks and nobody sacked, spending money the productive economy earned.
